Urbanity 2024: This Year’s Site Tours Revealed

The ever-popular site tours for this year’s Urbanity have been unveiled.

The tours give attendees the the chance to see first-had some of the most interesting, innovative and compelling developments that are shaping the Gold Coast today.

Begin your Urbanity 2024 experience on Tuesday, July 30 by exploring a hinterland wellness retreat, and luxury high-end residential and hotel developments on the Glitter Strip.

Following the guided tours, you will be transported to our welcome party, hosted at La Luna Beach Club, giving you a peerless opportunity to create meaningful connections with industry leaders.

The Projects 

gwinganna

Gwinganna and Eco View Retreat

Attendees will receive an exclusive tour of the newly completed Eco View Retreat, overlooking the Tallebudgera Valley. The tour will be led by the man behind the retreat, Tony De Leede, and his team and includes a visit to the renowned wellness development Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat. 

Tour highlights

Innovative Design: Insight into the eco-friendly design by Studio P, featuring 15 cabins and a central pavilion.

Wellness Amenities: Explore wellness facilities, including a spa, equine therapy areas, and yoga spaces.

Sustainable Development Practices: Overview of environmentally friendly design principles used in both Gwinganna and Eco View Retreat.

Market Appeal: Understanding the growing demand for wellness retreats, especially post covid, and their appeal in the property market.

KTQ’s Kirra Point Precinct 

Explore Kirra Point Precinct—a multi–stage development shaping the Gold Coast skyline.

Miles Residences:

Walk thorough the first residential tower completed within the Kirra Point Master Plan. Delivered in March 2024 after a decade of strategic planning, Miles Residences shows architectural brilliance. Learn how the north-south axis design ensures every apartment benefits from ocean views and solar access.

Kirra Beach Hotel and Kirra Beach House:

Kirra Beach Hotel and Kirra Beach House opened to the public in November 2023. These venues breathe life into the precinct, integrating a Gold Coast icon into a modern mixed-use precinct. Learn how the tall ‘wave’ was designed and how public spaces were maximised.

Integrated Precinct Vision:

Hear insights into the comprehensive planning approach undertaken by KTQ Group. Learn about the seven-year site amalgamation process that enabled a strategic arrangement of buildings across the master plan to utilise space. Explore the future stages of development, including additional residential towers, a resort hotel, retail, hospitality, and wellness tenancies.
