Varsity Lakes Gives Off Aura For Downsizers

Varsity Lakes' residential waterfront development 'Aura' has now reached 70 per cent sold, with the location and facilities speaking predominantly to local downsizers.

Developed by Alder Developments and built by Alder Constructions, Aura is located at 33 Lakefront Crescent and consists of 120 one, two and three bedroom apartments across four towers.

Two towers were completed and sold out, while the other two towers on the waterfront remain 50 per cent constructed and are due for completion in October.

Construction Kicks Off On Stage Two Aura Varsity Lakes]Brett Ahern from Colliers International said that now that the construction is underway on the last two towers, there has been a big upswing in the owner occupier enquiry.

“We are getting a lot of interest from empty nesters and retirees who are selling their houses in the local area and wanting to downsize to a two or a three bedroom apartment at Aura.

“Views are maximised from the Gold Coast hinterland to Surfers Paradise skyline and the apartments enjoy plenty of natural light and cross ventilation."Aura facilities include two swimming pools, four private rooftop terraces with Zen gardens, a fully equipped glass wall gymnasium, sauna, spa and cabanas featuring teppanyaki grills.

The buildings also have high speed prewired optic fibre for ultra-fast internet to every apartment, rooftop solar panelling to cut energy costs for powering common facilities, and premium technology to ensure sustainability.

Aura is situated in the centre of Gold Coast, and within its 8km radius there are 20 schools, Bond University major shopping centres, Robina Hospital, CBUS Super Stadium, Light Rail access, Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads beaches, Jupiter Casino, the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre and established train connections to Brisbane.
