[tweet_dis]A Bourke Street retail space with an asking rent of approximately $2 million a year[/tweet_dis] has become one of the most coveted retail spaces in the Melbourne CBD.
According to The Australian Financial Review, major international retailers such as Samsung, Apple, Banana Republic, Forever21, River Island, Sephora and Pottery Barn are keen to snap up the two-level retail space at 329 Bourke Street.
It's the first time in 10 years that a stand-alone retail space has become available in Bourke Street. The space had been tenanted by Forever New since 2008 but it did not renew its lease.
Located in art-deco Deva House directly opposite H & M's flagship store, the retail space offers 640sqm in one of Melbourne's busiest streets.
CBRE's head of CBD retail leasing, Zelman Ainsworth is marketing the space on behalf of Granopa Developments.
