Will You Be Living In A Bamboo City One Day?

Sustainable cities made entirely of bamboo could be the future of architecture, according to international architecture studio Penda.

The Beijing and Vienna-based studio has created a design for a modular bamboo structure using interlocking horizontal and vertical bamboo rods.

They told Dezeen that architects needed to “rethink” the process of building in a bid to combat air pollution and “irresponsible city planning”.
