The two hectare site at 255 Logan St Buranda sits at the centre of transport infrastructure.
The site, called The Boulevard, has been progressively amalgamated and developed to create the ultimate platform for a Transport Orientated Development - a mixed-use residential and commercial area designed to maximise access to public transport.
Buranda Train Station and Express busway directly bound the site, and the M1 and Pacific Motorway entrance is within 500 meters.
CBRE’s Flint Davidson, Darren Collins and Mike Walsh have been appointed as exclusive agents by Anthony John Group, who is selling the site as a strategic business decision in order to focus on existing Brisbane projects, including the landmark Southpoint development and the East Village.
Supported by both local and State Government planning policy, the project is ready to be commenced immediately and can be designed to incorporate a variety of uses for up to 154,000 square metres of Gross Floor Area.
Mr Davidson said: “This is an outstanding opportunity to acquire a landmark project, which provides the perfect vehicle to capitalise on the growing economy and strong residential demand within the Brisbane market.”
“There is no comparable development opportunity of this scale available in Brisbane - or across Australia’s eastern seaboard. The new owner will be able to capitalise on future growth in both population and employment, underpinned by over $20 billion in infrastructure and investment in the area. The frequency, convenience and connectivity of services are outstanding, and provide the platform for the creation of an exceptional living, workplace and lifestyle hub,” Mr Davidson said.
The Boulevard is for sale by Expressions of Interest, with offers closing on 30 October 2014.
