Industry Pioneer Headlines Retirement Living Summit

We’re delighted to announce that industry pioneer Justin Harrison, managing director of The Village Retirement Group, will join the program for our upcoming Retirement Living Summit, hosted in Brisbane on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Under Harrison’s leadership, The Village Retirement Group has successfully built five award-winning retirement villages across south-east Queensland, with a sixth now under way.

In an open conversation with Adam Di Marco, chief executive of The Urban Developer, delegates will hear about how the Harrison family entered the industry, evolved the offering for residents and the business model for owners, overcame market cycles and delivered assets with enduring value.

Harrison will be joined by some of Australia’s leading developers, owners and specialists including:

  • Tim Russell—Aura Holdings

  • Glen Brown, chief executive and co-founder, Reside Communities

  • Anna Gorgijeski, head of retirement living, Ozcare

  • Simon Owen, chief executive, Eureka Group Holdings Limited

  • Liam Carroll, national advisory director, One Fell Swoop

  • Tamar Krebs, founder and executive director, Group Homes Australia

  • Ashleigh Button, managing director, Third.i

  • Byron Cannon, chief executive, LDK Seniors’ Living

  • Linda Krall, general manager corporate development, social infrastructure, Australian Unity

  • Justin O’Neill, architect, partner, O’Neill Architecture

  • Belinda Thomas, associate director, Urbis

  • Jen Berryman, director, Chanje

  • Frank Ehrenberg, principal and regional director, Life3A/MarchesePartners
