The first stage of master-planned community,
The Pines, was launched by developer
Homecorp and in its opening weeks has made more than $7 million in sales.
The Pines sales manager Mr Danny Carr said the rapid take up is indicative of the demand for high quality living within the region.
“With strong investments in sport and recreation, parks, lakes and open space, The Pines is set to become the benchmark in living within the region,” Mr Carr said.
“We’ve designed The Pines to be a community of over 2,500 people – a place for all ages and families.”
The Pines sets itself apart from other estates in the region with access to Australia’s fastest available broadband internet.
“Many areas of Yeppoon are internet Black Spots,” said Mr Carr.
“The Pines has fibre optic wiring to the door which means residents will have plug and play super high speed internet and Foxtel.”
In August, Homecorp Property Group commenced a multi-million dollar infrastructure investment with the construction of the main gateway; the intersection of the Rockhampton Yeppoon Road and the future The Pines Boulevard.
“In September we opened our new sales centre on the Esplanade and during 2015 we plan to be opening the first streets in The Pines, which will include a 12 home Builder Display Village,” said Mr Carr.
“Over the next 10 years The Pines will create more than 500 job opportunities for the region and these early sales mark the investment growth scheduled for the coming years.”
Homecorp Group is based on the Gold Coast and has operated across Australia since 2004.
